Popov Nikolay

1941 – entered Lugansk Art School.

1956 – graduated from Kiev Art Institute. Teacher – A.Pashchenko.

After graduating worked in a publishing house “Soviet School”.

From 1957 – participant of republican, All-Union and international exhibitions.

From 1961 – member of the Union of artists of Ukrainian SSR.

Lectured at Kiev Art Institute.

1977 – the head of the Republican Art council of graphic art.

From 1977 – Honored artist of Ukrainian SSR.

People’s artist of Ukrainian SSR.

1978 – professor and head of the department of graphic arts.

Worked in techniques: lithography, etching, drawing.

Artist’s works are in museum and private collections.
