Khorenko Vladimir

Painter, graphic artist. Worked in the field of landscape, still life and genre scenes.

Member of the “severe style” in Ukrainian art of the 1970s – 1990s.

Born in 1927 in Stalino (now Donetsk).

In 1955 – graduated from the Grekov School of Art in Odessa, where he studied under Michael

Todorov, Abram Weksler and Kordonskiy Martin-Vigdor.

From1967 – contributed to the regional, national and all-national exhibitions.

From 1970 – Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.

In 1974 – solo exhibition in Donetsk.

The artist’s works are kept in the Donetsk Art Museum, in private collections in Ukraine and abroad.

He died in 2001 in Donetsk.
