Stahanov Igor

1925 – 2008

Born on June 2, 1925 in Kharkov.
Member of the Great Patriotic War, marked combat awards.
From 1946 to 1950 he studied at the Kharkov State Art Institute (HGHI) from L. Chernov, M. Shaposhnikov, P. Kotov, M. Deregus, V. Mironenko.
In 1956, Stahanov’s painting was selected for the III Autumn Art Exhibition, held from December 1956 to January 1957 in the Kharkov State Museum of Fine Arts.
Since that time, Stahanov has become a permanent participant in city, republican, all-Union and foreign art exhibitions.
Member of the Kharkov branch of the Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1962.
Since 1950, he taught at the Kharkov State Art College, later at the Kharkov Art and Industry Institute. In 1979 he was appointed to the post of associate professor.
His works are presented in Kharkov and Lugansk art museums, in private collections in Ukraine and abroad.

Mironenko Vasily

1910 – 1964

Honored Art Worker of the Ukrainian SSR. People’s Artist of the USSR from 1963.
Born on December 27, 1910 in with. Orekhovka, Poltava province of the Russian Empire (now Lubny district, Poltava region of Ukraine).
From 1931 to 1936 he studied at the Kharkov Art Institute with VI Kasiyan. After graduation, he stayed at the institute.
Mironenko made his debut at the first All-Union poster exhibition “Poster at the service of the five-year plan”, opened in early April 1932 in Moscow, in the premises of the State Tretyakov Gallery.
From that time he became a participant of numerous republican, all-Union and foreign art exhibitions.
The artist’s creative preferences were expressed already in the first etchings created during 1937-1941. Twenty sheets were collected in the album “Ukrainian landscape in the etchings of Vasily Mironenko” and published in early 1941 by the Kharkiv branch of the Art Fund.
In the post-war time, the schedule goes to an industrial landscape painting. Trips around the country, visiting the Pridneprovya, the Priazovye and the Donbass, was embodied in etchings that became classics of Soviet graphics.
Mironenko works are kept in the National Art Museum of Ukraine, the Kharkov Art Museum and in numerous museum and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.

Kutkin Vladimir

1926 – 2003

Born on November 12, 1926 in the city of Zhytomyr.
In 1948 he entered the Kiev State Art Institute (KGHI) at the Faculty of Graphics. But not for long. In 1950 Kutkin was arrested by the bodies of the State Security Committee and sentenced to eight years’ imprisonment for Ukrainian nationalism by the Special Meeting.
In 1955, for the absence of corpus delicti was released early.
In the same year, he resumed his studies at the KGHI in the studio of A.S. Pashenko.
In 1957, Kutkin made his debut at the exhibition of works of young artists in Kiev, dedicated to the Festival of Youth of the Ukrainian SSR.
In 1959 he graduated with honors from the institute and got a job as an art editor at the state publishing house “Prosveshcheniye”.
Member of art exhibitions: republican, all-Union, foreign.
Kutkin’s works are presented in the National Art Museum of Ukraine, in numerous museum and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.

Vintenko Yuriy

1955

He was born on April 15, 1955 in Kharkov, a painter.

Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1990.

He graduated from the Crimean Art College (teachers M.Morgun, V.Grigoriev, L.Labenok).

Lives and works in Kirovograd.

Participated in many regional, republican art exhibitions.

The works are kept in the Kirovograd Regional Art Museum and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.

Yakutovich Georgiy

1930 – 2000 years.

Soviet and Ukrainian painter and graphic artist.

Born in Kiev, February 14, 1930.

Since 1988 – Member of the Academy of Arts of the USSR.

Since 1995 – Professor of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.

In 1948-1954 – he studied at the Kiev Art Institute (Class I. Pleshchinskaya).

The author of many book illustrations, different desire for disclosure of images of literary works.

Author linocuts and plane-decorative compositions. He also worked in the technique of etching, performed sketches for movie posters.
