1941 – graduated from Art and Industry School in Moscow.
1950 – graduated from Moscow Art Institute. Teachers: A.Lentulov, I.Chekmasov, G.Riazhskiy.
1950 – lectured at Art School in Simferopol.
1953 – moved to Yalta.
From 1953 – participant of republican and All-Union exhibitions.
From 1970 – Honored Artist of Ukrainian SSR.
From 1978 – People’s Artist of Ukrainian SSR.
1987 – State Prize Laureate.
– Personal exhibition in Kiev.
2003, 2004, 2005 – Memorial exhibitions in Moscow, Simferopol, Kiev.

Gontarov Viktor

Artist, pedagogue
Born in 1943 in Kharkov region.
Graduated from Kharkov Art School.
Graduated from Leningrad Higher Art and Industry School named after V.Mukhina.
From 1967 – member of the Union of Artists of USSR.
From 1976 – member of the National Union of Artists of Ukrainian SSR.
1996 – Honored Artist of Ukraine.
1998 – the very first award on the All-Ukrainian contest and exhibition of paintings.
1999 – lectured at Kharkov State Academy of Design and Arts. Professor of the department of monumental painting.
2003 – winner of the Gold medal of Academy of Arts of Ukraine.
2007 – winner of the award “National recognition”.
2008 – State Prize winner.
Participant of All-Union, international, republican, and All-Ukrainian exhibitions and contests.

Gluskin Aleksandr

Born in 1899.
Studied at Odessa Art School. Teacher – K.Konstandi.
From 1925 – member of art union “The new society of painters” and “Being”.
1950 – 1970 – lectured at Moscow Art School.
Artist’s works are in the State Tretiakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, and others.

Garmash Anatoliy

Born on January 1, 1947 in Dnepropetrovsk.
Graphic artist and painter.
Member of the Union of Artists since 1984.
Graduated From Lviv Ukrainian Printing Institute named after Federov in 1971 year.
He participated in exhibitions since 1977.
His works are in the Dnipropetrovsk historical museum named after Yavornytsky, Dnepropetrovsk Art Museum, the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, in private collections in Poland, Germany, Austria, France, the United States.

Born on February the 5th in 1927 in Odessa.
1947 – graduated from Odessa Art School. Studied in Muchnik’s, Pavliuk’s, Sheliuto’s studios.
Studied at Moscow Art Institute in Mochalskiy’s studio.
Moved back to Odessa after graduating from Institute.
From 1954 – participant of city, republican, All-Union, and international exhibitions.
From 1957 – member of Odessa department of the Union of artists of Ukrainian SSR.
1972 – Honored artist of Ukrainian SSR.

Vintenko Boris

Born in 1927 in Kirovograd region.
1942 – graduated from Odessa State Art School. Studied in Bukovetskiy’s, Fraierman’s, Pavliuk’s studios.
Participant of regional, republican, and All-Union exhibitions.
Worked and lectured in Kirovograd art studios.
From 1973 – member of the Union of artists of Ukrainian SSR.
From 1993 – Honored artist of Ukrainian SSR.
Master of portraits and landscapes.
Discovered his own manner of “flaring” painting.
Artist’s works are in Kirovograd regional art museum and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.

Vasiliev Oleg

Born on September the 19th in 1918 in Ufa (Bashkiria).
1921 – moved to Kiev.
1940 – entered Kiev National Art Institute.
1949 – graduated from Kiev National Art Institute. Studied in K.Trokhimenko’s studio.
From 1945 – participant of republican, All-Union, and international exhibitions.
1968 – member of the Union of artists of USSR.
Artist’s works were exhibited in Poland, Cuba, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, etc.
1990 – personal exhibition in Kiev.
