Pavlov Viktor

Born in Odessa, October 15, 1947.

He graduated from the painting department of the Odessa Art College named after Grekov.

Belonged to the group of the nonkonformists, he began with the “apartment” exhibitions.

He lived and worked in Moscow, worked and exhibited with the group “Belyaevo 100”.

He participated in many international exhibitions.

Has two personal exhibitions in Odessa (Gallery “Vernissage”, “Maritime Gallery”).

His works are in the collections of museums of contemporary art in private collections.

Nadezhdin Andrey

Born in 1963 in the village Upper Khortytsya, Zaporozhye.
He graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk State Art College named after E.Vucheticha and  National Academy of fine art and architecture.

Teachers: L.Bondar, V. Shevchenko, M.Nadezhdin, V.Matyash, I.Ostapenko, V.Dzhulay, O.Lagutenko.
Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
He works in the fields of painting, drawing. The author of articles on the problems of art.
He took part in Ukrainian art exhibitions in 1989 – 1997.

I and II All-Ukrainian Triennial of Painting also participated in international exhibitions: “Ukrainian art” in Canada (1988).

“Babi Yar” – Kiev, Jerusalem (1992).,

“Contemporary Ukrainian Art” – Yale University (1995)., “Ukrainian modernity” in Prague (1993).,

National Association of Artists Exhibition “Farm” (1994.) and many others.
His works are in the collections of the Directorate of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, Kirovograd Regional Art Museum  and private collections

Nadezhdin Michael

Born on May the 18th, 1935 in Sumy region.

1957 – entered Dnepropetrovsk State Art School. Teachers: G.Cherniavskiy, N.Rodzin, A.Kuko.

1936 – 1962 – worked at the Pedagogical School (Zaporozhye), lectured drawing.

1963 – 1973 – teached at the Art school for children.

1973 – 1989 – an artist of the Art and Production studios of the Art fund of Ukrainian SSR.

1985 – initiated the creation of the organization of the Union of artists in Kirovograd.

From 1989 – the first head of the organization of the Union of artists of Kirovograd.

1994 – Honored artist of Ukraine.

1997 – People’s artist of Ukraine.

Laureate of A.Osmerkin award.

Participant of All-Union, All-Ukrainian, and international exhibitions.

Artist’s works are in museum and private collections in Ukraine.

Mokrozhitski Villi

1928 – 2006
Born on October the 2, 1928 in Kharkov.
1956 – graduated from Kharkov State Art Institute. Teachers: L.Chernov, Ye.Yegorov, S.Dudnik.
From 1961 – participant of republican and international exhibitions.
From 1965 – member of the Union of artists of Ukrainian SSR.
Worked in genres: landscape, military history, themes of labour and people’s life.
Created dioramas:
1967 – “The fight of Czechoslovakian and Soviet soldiers with fascist occupants in the village Sokolovo near Kharkov”;
1969 – “Korsun-Shevchenkovskaya fight with fascist occupants, 1944”;
1992 – “Russian ART”;
1995 – “Lots Road Galleries”, London etc.
Artist’s works are in private collections in Ukraine and Europe.

Matyushenko Viktor

Born on June the 5th in 1925 in Dnepropetrovsk.

1951 – graduated from Dnepropetrovsk State Art School. Teachers: M.Panin, M.Pogrebniak.

From 1951 – participant of regional and republican exhibitions.

From 1969 – member of the Union of artists of Ukrainian SSR.

1986 – posthumous personal exhibition, Kiev.

Created the series “Spring Ukraine” and “Karelia”.

Artist’s works are in museum and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.

Kryzhevsky Grigoriy

1918 – 1992

Born in 1918.
1934 – graduated from Kharkov Art School.
From 1949 – participant of exhibitions.
1951 – graduated from Kharkov Art Institute.
1951 – 1958 – the head and teacher of Odessa Art School.
From 1954 – member of the Union of artists.
From 1974 – Honored artist of Ukrainian SSR.
Awarded with medals, orders, and diploma of Academy of Arts of USSR for creativity.

Kovalenko Yuriy

Born in Priluki Chernihiv region.

He studied at the Odessa Theatre and Art School (1952-1959).

He graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinematography (1965-1969)

Member of the National Union of Artists.

He studied at the Odessa Art School (1971-1981).

He held 10 solo exhibitions in Odessa.

Member of numerous national, regional and international exhibitions.

His painting and sculptures are in the US, Canada, France, Holland, Sweden, Israel, Germany.

Karkots Vasily

Born on January 1, 1926 in village Banovka Kostanai region in Kazakhstan in a working class family.
Participant of the Great Patriotic War. Port Arthur, Wonsan, Tsushima – the stages of the path of combat Basil Karkotsa – Pacific military sailor navy.
From 1947 to 1952 he studied at the Tashkent Art College named after Benkov, and after its completion – in Krasnodar Art Teachers College.
Since 1961 Karkots VS – Participant of regional, republican, national and international art exhibitions.
Member of the Union of Artists since 1963.
He worked in the field of easel painting. The master of still life, landscape, and portrait.
Paintings of 1950-1970 made by the painter in Kazakhstan, are characterized with endless sky, the haze of distant mountains, gold sands of the desert.
He lived and worked in Karelia (1952-1954 years), Kazakhstan (1954 – 1975 years).
Since 1975 Karkots moved to Nikopol in Ukraine.
He worked in Dnepropetrovsk and Nikolaev  Union of Artists of Ukraine.
His works are in museums and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.

Belyak Vladimir

Born in Odessa in 1924.

He graduated from Odessa Art School in 1947.
In 1953 he graduated from the Kiev Art Institute, where he studied with Ivan Shtilman, S. Grigoriev, K. Trohimenko.
Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1953.
Member of numerous international, all-Union and All-Ukrainian exhibitions.
Personal exhibition in the Ukrainian House (2004) and the Russian Museum in Kiev (2008).
His works are in many private collections in Ukraine and abroad .

 

Kokin Mikhail

Born on July the 16th in 1921 in Dnepropetrovsk.
1947 – graduated from Dnepropetrovsk Art School. Teacher – M. Panin.
Veteran of the Great Patriotic War.
From 1947 – participant of art exhibitions in Dnepropetrovsk.
1954 – graduated from Kiev State Art Institute. Teachers: G. Melikhov, S. Grigoriev, V. Kostetskiy.
From 1957 – participant of republican exhibitions.
From 1958 – member of the Union of artists of Ukranian SSR.
1965 – 1987 – chief artist of Dnepropetrovsk artistic and production plant.
1976 – Honored artist of Ukrainian SSR.
2001 – People’s artist of Ukraine.
Artist’s works are in museum and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
